OJIBWE SCHOOL MISSION
STATEMENT
In order to survive both
as a people and a culture, we must return full circle to our traditional
manner of education. Traditional Anishinaabe society was outcome based
and results oriented. Our society was community focused, it was so in
order to survive.
BELIEF STATEMENT
The Fond du Lac
Reservation Ojibwe Schools
are dedicated to providing a quality
education, which focuses on integrating the American Indian culture into
all students' learning experiences. Every learner will have the
opportunity to be challenged, to succeed, and to be prepared for the
future. Parents, staff, community, and students will demonstrate the
highest level of expectations for themselves and the school.
From the Principal...
Happy Holidays!
Winter Break for our students will begin on December 23rd at 12:30
p.m. Students will start back to school on Monday, January 5th. We hope
that everyone has enjoyable vacation.
Mid-terms were mailed home this week. If you did not receive your
child’s progress report in the mail, please call Rita at 878-7571.
This year the students will need to purchase their yearbook. We will
have a separate yearbook for elementary and high school. The cost of the
elementary yearbook is $10. The cost of the high school book is $25. If
you are interested in buying a 2008-2009 yearbook, please contact us at
878-7571. The yearbooks need to be purchased in advance.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to helping us
ensure your child has a great learning experience at the Fond du Lac
